The Prince and Princess of Avacal have declared a tournament to find those who will succeed them in their Autumn years. The tournament shall be held in the Shire of Harrows Cross.
Event fee: $20.00 feast and site fee (remember members get $2.00 off and non-members pay $4.00 NMS) Children under 9 are free and Children 10-16 pay only $12.00 There is no off board for the feast. The event fee includes the feast and a simple soup lunch.
Feast: Feast will be very similar to the feast of 1000 dishes, in that each dish will only serve 10-15. Each dish will be brought down to the head table and they will have a chance to pick from it, the dishes then will be moved to the buffet table in front of the stage area for the populace. Each dish will be accompanied by a card detailing the exact ingredients so those with allergies can still partake of the feast. There will be a cash bar on site, due to mundane law no outside alcohol will be allowed on site. Lunch will be served from 11 AM till 1 PM, with the feast starting at 6PM.
The tournament will be a double elimination format. Entrants can choose any weapon style they wish. However the style and weapon that they are inspected with, is the only style and weapon that will be accepted for the entire tournament. In other words, entrants cannot change weapons styles or weapons throughout the tournament. A secondary weapon must be presented at inspection (but this secondary weapon must be similar to the primary weapon). All fighters must comply with Kingdom tournament standards for heavy combat. Please remember that to compete in the tournament both you and your inspiration need to have proof of valid membership and a subscription to the Avantgarde.
